About

I work where corporate strategy meets institutional complexity, mostly structuring partnerships across borders and aligning executives across organizations behind a single operating plan.

Most recently I led B2B enterprise strategy at LG Uplus, a KRW 2.6 trillion business, including the company's first MWC footprint and a 23-partner ecosystem program. Before that, I spent thirteen years at Samsung SDS, mostly on the commercial side: global portfolio strategy, corporate growth, and a Samsung Group task force on multi-year capital allocation and build, buy, or partner decisions.

The portfolio I ran at Samsung SDS covered close to 250 group entities in more than 50 countries, worth over $200M. Revenue grew 33% over that period, and operating margin moved from about 15% to 25%. Separately, I built a global strategic alliance from zero, including the operating model, governance, and a joint business-planning cadence with the partner.

I've also served on national policy task forces in Korea, on net neutrality and mobile VoIP regulation, which meant working between industry positions and government process. Earlier in my career I collaborated with IDEO on a global product-concept prototype, and I later trained at MIT in venture advancement and innovation leadership.

I'm currently completing a master's in Decision Making & Applied Analytics at Minerva, where I also mentor an undergraduate. Most of what's on this site comes out of that work: how large organizations actually adopt AI, and what it takes to move a strategy from slide to execution when nobody involved reports to the same person.
